Create a new file

The exercise will start with a new file and all geometry will be defined.

From the backstage select File > New.
The New file dialog opens. Enter in the File name field.
Note: The OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents seed file designseed.DGN is selected by default. Use it to create the new file.
Click Save. The Save as type control is set to *.dgn. Remember that OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents does not save geometry, but the instructions to generate geometry.
is opened in the OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents application window.
Arrange the windows in such a way that they don't overlap and both the Graph view and the Model view are visible as well as the OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents task interface, and the Node Types and Transactions tabs.
